Complete guide to using JukeTune for your live events.

Getting Started

1. Create Your Account

  1. Go to app.juketune.com/signup.html
  2. Enter your email address and create a password
  3. Fill in your band/DJ name
  4. Click “Sign Up” to create your account

2. Log In to Your Dashboard

  1. Visit app.juketune.com
  2. Enter your email and password
  3. Click “Login” to access your admin dashboard

Managing Your Songs

Adding Songs Manually

  1. Navigate to the “Songs” section in your dashboard
  2. Click “Add Song”
  3. Enter the song title and artist name
  4. Click “Save” to add the song to your library

Bulk Upload via CSV

  1. Prepare a CSV file with columns: Title, Artist
  2. Go to the “Songs” section
  3. Click “Import CSV”
  4. Select your file and upload
  5. Review imported songs and confirm

Editing and Deleting Songs

  • Edit: Click on any song to modify its title or artist
  • Delete: Click the delete icon next to a song to remove it

Creating Playlists

Create a New Playlist

  1. Go to the “Playlists” section
  2. Click “Create Playlist”
  3. Enter a name (e.g., “Wedding Classics”, “Rock Hits”)
  4. Click “Create”

Adding Songs to Playlists

  1. Open the playlist you want to edit
  2. Click “Add Songs”
  3. Select songs from your library
  4. Click “Add Selected” to include them

Running an Event

Create an Event

  1. Navigate to the “Events” section
  2. Click “Create Event”
  3. Enter the event name (e.g., “Bob’s Wedding”)
  4. Select which playlists to make available
  5. Click “Create Event”

Start the Event

  1. When you’re ready to begin, click “Start Event”
  2. A QR code will be generated automatically
  3. Display the QR code for guests to scan
  4. You can also share the direct link

Managing Requests During the Event

  • Requests appear in real-time on your dashboard
  • Click “Mark as Played” when you play a song
  • Played songs are automatically disabled for guests
  • Ignore requests you don’t want to play

End the Event

  1. When the show is over, click “End Event”
  2. The guest interface will close
  3. View your event report with statistics

Guest Experience

How Guests Access the Song List

  1. Scan the QR code with their phone camera
  2. Or open the direct link in any browser
  3. No app download or sign-up required

How Guests Request Songs

  1. Browse the available song list
  2. Use the search bar to find specific songs
  3. Swipe or tap on a song to request it
  4. See confirmation that the request was sent

What Guests See

  • Available songs they can request
  • Songs that have already been played (marked/disabled)
  • Real-time updates as the event progresses

Tips for Best Results

  • Prepare playlists in advance: Set up your song library and playlists before the event
  • Test the QR code: Make sure it scans correctly before the event starts
  • Display prominently: Put the QR code where guests can easily see and scan it
  • Use a mobile hotspot: If venue WiFi is unreliable, bring your own hotspot
  • Keep your dashboard visible: Monitor requests throughout the event
